Taco Tuesday Date Night!
Troy and I are lucky to have both sets of Grandparents within a hours drive of us and our kids. Not only do we get to see them on a regular basis, but we tend to get to have pretty regular date nights. Thank Mom and Lucy!! (oh and Dad and Shawn…ha!) The kids really enjoy the time they get to spend with their grandparents. An added bonus to them going to A & E’s house (not the tv channel, my parents) is they get to spend time with Uncle Nick. Basically what I am saying is Date Night is good for everyone!
One of our favorite nights out is Taco Tuesday. Usually it’s a quick run to Ixtapa to meet friends for $1 beef tacos, but recently we have reconnected with our love of taco trucks and carnitas.
Do yourself a favor and go check out Tacos El Rey on Main Street in Monroe. Its right across from the bus barn. The carnitas are amazing. The chicken tacos are delish. The cheese quesadilla creates cravings. They even have real sugar Squirt. Do not forget to squeeze that lime all over those tacos and put a dash of the tomatillo sauce to top it off.
